This month, we address a topic that weighs heavy on Nick’s heart and demands our attention more urgently than ever before – suicide, a haunting reality, particularly among the young hearts of Gen Z. In our pursuit to bring light to this issue, we’re joined once again by Jacob Coyne, a remarkable individual leading the charge against suicide in this generation through his ministry, Stay Here. One of the first things they talk about are some of the signs that someone in your life is suicidal.

In John 10:10, we are reminded that the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy. He aims to sow confusion, convincing this generation that they are mere accidents without purpose. But we know better. We know that even before we were born, God knew us, had a plan for us, and knitted us together in our mothers’ wombs (Psalm 139). You are fearfully and wonderfully made, in the very image of God. There has never been, and will never be, another you. God created you uniquely, with a specific design and purpose.

We encourage you to watch Nick’s full Gospel Message video on our Champions for the Suicidal page.

In moments of mental struggle, especially for followers of Christ, it’s easy to feel isolated and flawed. Yet, remember, this battle is not solely a mental health issue. It’s a spiritual struggle. Depression, anxiety, and suicidal thoughts are Satan’s ploys to bar you from the abundant life God designed for you.

There is Hope

If you’ve ever felt like you’ve done things beyond forgiveness or believed you’re too far gone for redemption, it’s time to put those doubts to rest. There is hope, and there is healing available through Christ.
Just as we are addressing the topic of suicide this month, we have previously explored the issue of addiction. In this context, we also invite you to watch our Champions for the Addicted interviews, where individuals like Jason Webber and Ron Brown share their powerful testimonies and insights.

Until Next Time

Remember, no matter the struggle you face, whether it’s addiction, suicidal thoughts, or any other challenge, you are not alone. God’s grace is sufficient for you, and His power is most evident in your weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). He longs to be your strength, your guide, and your source of healing.

As we journey together towards redemption, let us be champions for healing, transformation, and the unrelenting love that knows no boundaries. Visit the Champions for the Suicidal page for full interviews, resources, and the unwavering message of hope.
