Champions for the Brokenhearted seeks to provide hope and healing to the lost, broken and skeptical. For each topic Nick has interviewed experts in each initiative and has recorded a gospel message directly to that hurting community. This year we will be highlighting one of our 12 Champions for the Brokenhearted themes each night in the tent
*Please note: All discussions of these topics will take into consideration that children are in attendance.
Jenna Quinn – Oct 12th
Champion For The Abused
It is estimated that 2 in 3 children suffer some type of abuse before age 18. This abuse can be sexual, physical, mental or emotional perpetrated by someone they trust. Nick will interview Jenna Quinn on how to find healing after abuse.
Jaco Booyens – Oct 13th
Champion For The Trafficked
Up to 50% of child trafficking is enabled by a caregiver and 50% of those cases are the children’s own mothers. Jaco Booyens will be Nick’s guest as they shed light on this dark trade and some practical ways to mitigate these negative trends.
Jay Harvey – Oct 14th
Champion For The Prisoner
Many prisoners come from poverty or foster care. Their incarceration affects children and families. Nick welcomes Jay Harvey as they discuss the challenges prisoners and their families face, yet leaders and churches are growing behind bars.
Rachel Faulkner Brown – Oct 15th
Champion For The Widow
Finding freedom in Christ after being widowed twice was the solution that Rachel Brown discovered for her grief. Nick welcomes Rachel Faulkner Brown as she encourages widows and others who are experiencing grief and loss to also find the solutions.
Pastor James Ward – Oct 19th
Champion For The Poor
Over 40 million Americans live in poverty which results in persistent issues such as homelessness in our inner cities. Nick will interview Pastor James Ward as they address root issues of poverty and societal division.
Gary Wilkerson – Oct 20th
Champion For The Addicted
Addiction of any kind is a spiritual disease that is destroying souls, families and careers. 21 million Americans have at least 1 addiction related to substance abuse alone. Nick will interview Gary Wilkerson focusing on solutions for the addicted.
General Bob Dees – Oct 21st
Champion For The Veteran/Suicidal
18 million Americans are veterans. Nick will be speaking with General Bob Dees about effective support for veterans as they deal with PTSD, living and health costs, disability and thoughts of suicide.

Champion For The Unborn/Foster
There are nearly 400,000 children in the foster system nationwide—and over 28,000 of them are waiting to be adopted or fostered here in Texas. Nick will interview several guests regarding the value of the unborn child and the great need for adoption and foster care.

60 million Americans have at least one form of disability, ranging from physical, intellectual, mental or other impairment. Nick's courage in the face of his own limblessness is a source of hope for those with special needs around the world.

We welcome people of all ages to join us at the Big Jesus Tent.
Childcare is not available. Children 13 and under must be accompanied by a supervising adult.
No. The purpose of the Big Jesus Tent is to help people experience hope and healing through the message of Jesus Christ.
Free parking is available at Allen High School and the Freshman Lowery Center.
Yes. There is a designated drop-off available east of the tent. Follow signage for details.
Food trucks are available on-site Thursday – Sunday, 5:00pm – 6:30pm.
Bring family, friends, co-workers who are in need of hope and healing.
There is prime designated seating for wheelchair accessibility.
No pets are allowed. Only registered service animals are permitted on the premises.

The Big Jesus Tent is a 55,000 SQ FT covered tent located across from Allen High School.
No need! Seating for 6,000 people is provided on a first come, first serve basis.
Hand washing stations are provided next to the portable restrooms, along with hand sanitizer available on-site. If you are experiencing symptoms related to COVID-19 or another virus, please stay home and watch the service via livestream at BigJesusTent.org.
