“And Moses said to the people, “Do not be afraid. Stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord, which He will accomplish for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall see again no more forever. The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold[b] your peace.”

Sometimes, the most courageous thing you can do is stand still. That’s what Moses told the people at the Red Sea: “Don’t panic. Stand back and watch what God will do.” Fear says “run or fight,” but faith says “wait and trust.” God still fights battles for His people today.

When fear creeps in, pause and say out loud: “God is fighting for me. I will not be afraid.”
