Love – Leviticus 19:18

“Do not seek revenge or bear a grudge against anyone among your people, but love your neighbor as yourself. I am the LORD.”

Leviticus 19:18

Each of us has to learn to respect ourselves by caring for our own self-worth. If we have a weed that grows out of bitterness, the sooner we pull it out–roots and all–the easier it is to prevent the grudges in our heart that poison us and our relationships to release us out of the prison of unforgiveness.

Reflection for Today

Is there anyone I am bitter against right now, where I can’t wait for God to take revenge? Ask God to reveal any hidden grudges or unforgiveness in your heart—and take the first step toward release.
