Clarify your expectations for the Christian way of life since faith in Christ is a gift, but so is suffering for His sake. Though it may feel difficult, suffering draws us closer to Jesus and shapes us to be more like Him. When we suffer with purpose, we participate in something deeper than pain—we share in Christ’s glory.
