My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.”

James 1:2–4

It sounds crazy, but trials can actually be a gift. Why? Because they produce perseverance and perseverance matures your faith. We do not grow strong without resistance. So instead of asking “Why me?” ask “What’s God doing in me?” He’s building something solid in you.
