The Guy I’m looking for is called Jesus. Ok, I guess Jesus isn’t actually in the Book itself, but I think He would be way too big to even fit in there anyway. I think when people say Jesus is in the Bible, what they actually mean is the Bible tells us what Jesus is like and who He is. Here is what I have discovered about Jesus from the Bible, and it is super amazing!

First, the Bible says that an angel told Jesus’ mom, Mary, that she was going to have a baby. Mary was very surprised because she wasn’t planning on having a baby! A little while later, Mary and her husband Joseph were going to a town called Bethlehem. When they got to town, Jesus was born, but not in a hospital or even a hotel room.

No. Jesus was born in a stable surrounding by farm animals and hay. When Jesus was born, a whole army of angels appeared to some shepherds and said, “Go see this new baby that was born. He is the King, the King of kings, and He is going to rescue all people from their sins.”

no way! Neither have I.

Today I want to talk to you about a special book.

It is my favorite book of all time, but really it’s actually 66 books all combined into one great read.

Do you know what book I’m talking about? The B-I-B-L-E, yes that’s the book for me! You guessed it. It’s the Bible. The first book in the Bible is Genesis and the last book is called Revelation.

In between is the most amazing collection of history, action, adventure, suspense, drama! There are tales of giants and warriors, thrilling rescues, and daring feats of strength, tragic deaths, and awesome resurrections!
You know what? In the Bible you can read about brave women like Ruth, Esther, and Mary.

You can read about strong men like Daniel, David and Peter, Sampson.
The Bible tells us about pastors swallowed by fish, donkeys who talk, frogs who invaded the country, and other crazy stories!

You can even find wise sayings and good advice in the Bible.

That’s right, you are a special unique, beautiful piece of art that is truly amazing. You are a masterpiece created by God, and God is the best artist. God only makes awesome and wonderful things. and that is you Go.

How do I know that you’re a masterpiece? Because the Bible says in the book of Ephesians, “We are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works.” Ephesians 2:10. Workmanship is another word for a beautiful piece of art. With love and care, God put his work into making you the way you are exactly.

God chose the color of your hair, the shape of your feet, the number of freckles on your shoulders—everything about you.

God made you special! You are His great work of art! Masterpieces are created to be seen and shared. You don’t make something awesome and then hide it away in a closet. No, you want everyone to see it. That’s why the Bible says we are masterpieces created for good works.
